Here I want to share the e-mail reply that I got from PayPal's representative to my question about PayPal's availability in Pakistan.

Question: (My e-mail message)

It is unbelievable why PayPal is so indifferent to Pakistan. Pakistan has a large e-commerce base with a large number of credit card users, larger than most of the countries of Europe. Pakistan has a fully developed banking sector with most of the banks providing online banking and other electronic services. Despite that, thousands of freelance workers and small sized businesses are deprived of an opportunity to do business in international market and earn money, because of the non-availability of PayPal. I would request you to allow accounts from Pakistan to send and receive money and withdraw to local banks and cards. I am sure adding Pakistan to your service list will be more beneficial to PayPal than most of the other countries. Thank you.'

PayPal representative's reply:

I sincerely appreciate your interest in becoming a PayPal member. Unfortunately, we are not yet providing services for the country or region in question. We are working hard and look forward to expanding our services to additional countries and regions in the future. We appreciate the time you've taken to write us with your comments about our service. Terrorism and Pay pal in pak
I think we should really think hard about how our Government has created this problem by letting all terrorists operate freely in our country. Because all the terrorists come from Pakistan sites like paypal have banned us and afghanistan, iraq and iran. These terrorists will destroy the country and the poor citizens like us too. We should collectively take a strong stand against terrorism and fanaticism otherwise the world will ostracize us. WAKE UP!!! Or will be be just like Afghanistan!!!

A new possible business for any pakistani in America
If a Pakistani who lives in USA or in any other country supported by PayPal, makes an account on PayPal and start sending money to Pakistani Freelancers via other procedures. For this purpose he must be trustful and reliable and must have a proper website through which freelancers will contact him.
Hey
I would like to say that PayPal should consider our country because being a PayPal user i get my money in my partner's PayPal account in UK, after that he sends that money into a local bank account. Then I would be able to get money from Western Union, this whole process takes up to 7-10 days, its like hell of work, PAYPAL should consider that ALL OUR PAKISTANI BANKS ARE ONLINE and our ECONOMIC BASE is very STRONG, even they can start with lets say, 1 International bank, the newly launched bank Royal Bank of Scotland, they can even ask us that they will withdraw money only in RBS ACCOUNTS!!! Think over it PAYPAL.
I think Alertapay is best

Some alternatives to Paypal for Pakistanis
>>>"We carefully consider every feedback email we receive and appreciate your suggestions." Honestly speaking, it seems to me that their reply is a formal template which they may return to everyone like us who mails them regarding paypal's availability timeframe in a country. Look what they wrote in the beginning: >>>"Unfortunately, we are not yet providing services for the country or region in question" If they do really read the emails and consider them, don't you think they would have explicitly said they don't provide services in Pakistan (Rather than saying 'for the country or region in question'). Anyway, I have been working online as a freelancer for over an year. Here are some alternatives you can use to get payments. 1) Moneybookers (has Escrow facility too) 2) Payoneer (You will need to get their Debit Card by registering with one of their partners like Getafreelancer, Elance, etc.) 3) Ikobo (allows non-business transactions)

Damn it man Paypal non availability is one hell of a problem. I cant believe why no one is doing anything about this. India is completely supported by paypal and it is one of a very few countries to have local bank withdrawal available. I have lost a lot of money due to this crap.

You can know it if you click on it
This donation goes into the PayPal account of the web hosting company which hosts this site, and they adjust the hosting dues of this site with that amount.
