About 20,000 people turned up at the jalsa.  This also included 10,000 Punjab Government employees.  All Punjab Government departments were notified to make all their resources available to transport people to the dhobi ghaat.

Even then Nawaz Shareef put up a pathetic show compared to Imran Khan's Oct 30 jalsa in Lahore.

People were seen leaving the venue (at 7:02 in video) when Nawaz Shareef was speaking.

Lies that Nawaz Shareef told in Faisalabad jalsa:

Lie #1: Pakistan's economy was progressing

Pakistan's economy was going through the worst phase in history in 1999.

Lie #2: GDP growth was high compared to now

Pakistan's GDP growth was only 3% in 1999, the same growth as it is now

Lie #3: Pakistan's forex reserves were at a higher level

In 1999, Pakistan's forex reserves were only at $500 million compared to current level of $18 billion+

Lie #4: There was no load-shedding in Pakistan

In 1999, Karachi was suffering upto 8 hours of electricity shutdown each day

Lie #5: Pak rupee was stronger than Indian rupee

Nawaz Shareef devalued Pak rupee twice on IMF's orders and Pak rupee was Rs. 2 against Indian rupee.

Lie #6: There was no terrorism in Pakistan

During Nawaz Shareef's Government, terrorists would massacre namazi's in mosques in broad daylight in various cities of Punjab and no terrorist was ever caught by the Government.  PNL-N was allied to MQM during its second tenure.

Lie #7: There was no joblesness in 1999

The only people who were getting jobs in 1999 were PML-N workers.  Nawaz Shareef made thousands of people jobless in the name of "Golden Handshake scheme"

Lie #8: Shareef family was rich before Pakistan was even born

Nawaz Shareef's father was just a dukaandar in Gowalmandi before the creation of Pakistan.

Sharif family made a fortune after creation of Pakistan and their wealth multiplied during Zia-ul-Haq's rule.
